After multiple reports of Lady Gaga's Staten Island video shoot for "Marry the Night" hit the Net, MTV News has confirmed that the singer indeed shot her fifth Born This Way clip in her native New York.

MTV News caught up with the CEO of the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, where the video was shot on Monday, to get some details about the "Marry the Night" visuals.

"We found both her and her crew to be easy to work with and low-key," Lynn Kelly told us. "I think we would have expected a lot of drama, and the truth is, she is probably the most down-to-earth person. It was endearing. She was friendly and kind."

Lady Gaga "started to cry" the first time she heard the track for "Marry the Night."

New York's Daily News reports that Gaga was spotted hiding behind a sheet in order to keep her video look concealed from the many onlookers who stopped to catch a glimpse of the star.

According to tweets from passersby, dancers and extras were spotted dressed in multiple looks: some as ballerinas and others wearing leopard print. Gaga's mom was reportedly on set and spoke to some of the Little Monsters. While Gaga remained relatively hidden during the shoot, one fan tweeted that she was spotted sporting thick, black eyeliner with her hair done up.

While she wouldn't reveal any insider details about the video, Kelly did have only the highest praise for Mother Monster. "I think, for us, we're so excited to have someone of her talent and to have somebody like that shoot here is a sheer honor," she said. "What her music does for music is so much more than entertainment. It's connecting to the arts on a much deeper level, and that's what I hope we can do here."

The TeenNick HALO Awards are weeks away from kicking off, but the celebrities involved are already spreading the word. In a new PSA for the event, airing November 6, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, David Beckham and Jessica Biel have joined forces to let viewers know about the show.

"Anti-bullying became something that I am now very passionate about," Lady Gaga said in a statement about being involved with the show. "I was bullied in school, and for a very long time, I kept those feelings inside. Today, I feel grateful and happy that I was able to get through these struggles and have friends, family and people around that inspired me — people like Emily-Anne."

Emily-Anne Rigal, 17, has been paired with Gaga thanks to her work to help stop bullying. She started the WeStopHate.org website, helping to shed light on the cause.

Swift will be paired with 19-year-old James O'Dwyer, who started the Magnolia Disaster Relief, an aid program that aims to offer relief to rural areas hit by tornadoes.

"I think James and I have a lot in common, and I'm really glad I got to meet and surprise him at my concert," Swift said. "Judging from the things he's been able to accomplish, he's one of those people who does the work without looking for or taking any of the credit.

"What really impressed me about James is how he stepped up to the line as soon as he heard that people were in trouble," she continued. "He saw first-hand how their lives had been destroyed and instead of getting frozen in that moment, he posted a message on Facebook to rally anyone who could bring supplies and food to those who lost their homes in tornados."

Meanwhile, Biel is paired with Shanoah Washington, an 18-year-old who created the Sista2Sista program, which aims to motivate young women. Finally, Beckham was paired with Kyle Weiss, 18, who started the organization FUNDaFIELD, which builds soccer fields in Africa.

The show will be hosted by Nick Cannon. It all takes place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 26. The broadcast will air November 6 on Nick at Nite, with an encore November 7 on TeenNick.

Don't miss the TeenNick HALO Awards on Sunday, November 6, on Nick at Nite.

Kesha has joined forces with the Human Rights Campaign to help celebrate National Coming Out Day on Tuesday (October 11).

The pop singer created a special message T-shirt, featuring a purple zebra, that proclaims "We R Who We R," the title of her hit anthem about individuality. The shirts sell for $35, with all proceeds supporting the HRC's work to achieve equality for the LGBT community.

According to the HRC website, only 1,000 shirts will be produced.

Others are also using the day to bring awareness to LGBT issues. Several notable celebrities will be honored by the Equality Forum, which is hosting an event and profiling notable LGBT members in pop culture.

As LGBT History Month rolls on throughout October, Ricky Martin, Wanda Sykes, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy and Pedro Zamora, a former "The Real World" castmember turned AIDS activist, all will be profiled by the organization.

"We're the only minority worldwide that's not taught history at home, in school or religious institutions," said Malcolm Lazin, Equality Forum's founder and executive director. "Like every group that's been marginalized, it really helps to make the case why we should take real pride in ourselves and our community."

Since launching the program five years ago, over 200 icons have been profiled, including Jane Lynch, Lady Gaga and Neil Patrick Harris. Lazin called LGBT month "empowering and life affirming."

The message comes amid increased awareness about young people being bullied, including MTV's A Thin Line campaign. The MTV film "DISconnected," which premiered Monday night, focuses on issues in a world where technology controls personal lives.

"I see the viciousness of people every day," said "Jersey Shore" star Vinny Guadagnino on the "DISconnected" after show. "I kind of want to be a soldier in the field, so to speak, and try to combat the negativity with a positive message. I want to help open people's eyes up, like this movie does, to the negativity."

Check out the Facebook page for "DISconnected."

Beyonce Rep: Fake Baby-Bump Rumors Are "Ridiculous"

Beyonce Rep: Fake Baby-Bump Rumors Are "Ridiculous"

Is a pregnant Beyonce wearing a fake belly during press ops? That's the bizarre rumor that began spreading this week, after the singer's baby bump appeared to collapse for a moment on an Australian talk show. The 30-year-old star's rep tells ABC News in no uncertain terms that the rumor is "stupid, ridiculous and false." Watch the footage that created the controversy, below.

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

So perhaps the obvious question is: Why in the world would Beyonce (or anyone, for that matter) wear a prosthetic baby bump? The most popular conspiracy theory is that she's faking the pregnancy, and is secretly having a baby via surrogate. (Nevermind that plenty of A-list female stars -- recently, Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole Kidman -- have had babies via surrogate with zero backlash.) Some have also suggested that she's padding her bump to appear more pregnant, or perhaps to give a smoother pregnant silhouette.

Ridiculous? Sure. But who can resist a conspiracy theory? In truth, the odd fold in her midsection could easy be caused by her outfit -- perhaps a fold in her dress or undergarments, or a pair of pantyhose or Spanx rolling down as she sat.

Oddly enough, the "fake baby bump" rumors started immediately after Beyonce's MTV pregnancy announcement, with MediaTakeOut claiming that she padded her belly for a more dramatic reveal.

We suspect that the craziness is just a side effect of the media circus surrounding Beyonce and husband Jay-Z's long-awaited baby. After all, the last time we can remember this many "fake bump" rumors around a celebrity, it was another super-high-profile couple: Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. And Suri looks real enough to us!

Beyonce announced on Sunday that the baby is due in February.

Michael Jackson Overdose Re-Enacted In Court Video

Prosecution aimed to prove MJ's death could have been prevented if Dr. Conrad Murray had the proper equipment and staffing.

After five days of recess, the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray resumed in a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday (October 19) with the airing of a dramatic video showing an actor going into cardiac arrest and being revived following a propofol overdose.

The Witness
» Dr. Steven Shafer, anesthesiologist

Key Testimony
» After the trial was recessed for two days to allow Shafer to attend a conference -- which he did not make it to in light of his father's death -- the anesthesiologist, who emphasized the fact that his pro bono consultation on the case is motivated by his desire to restore faith in the public that propofol is not fatal when administered and monitored properly, completed his testimony from last week. Shafer, an expert on the surgical anesthetic propofol, narrated a video in which jurors watched an actor pretending to go into cardiac arrest while being administered propofol. The Los Angeles coroner's office determined that Jackson died of "acute propofol intoxication," which caused the singer to go into cardiac arrest.

» In the video, doctors and nurses successfully revive the patient using equipment and staffing that Murray did not have in Jackson's home. The dramatic re-enactment capped a case from the prosecution aimed at proving that Murray acted in a negligent, unprofessional manner in his treatment of Jackson.

» Murray lawyer Ed Chernoff argued vehemently against showing the video, calling it "a terrifying dramatization of a person experiencing cardiac arrest" that he said was intended to inflame the jurors' minds. Prosecutors countered that it was aimed at educating jurors about the safe way to administer propofol. A judge allowed the video but ordered Deputy District Attorney David Walgren to re-edit the video mid-morning to delete several scenes that he said were not relevant to the case.

» Over the course of the afternoon, the prosecution walked Shafer through his analysis of 17 major infractions -- what Shafer termed "egregious violations" -- in Murray's treatment of Jackson. Four of those violations were deemed "fundamentally unconscionable," such as Murray's failure to purchase and implement the proper medical monitoring devices and his failure to chart and document his treatment of Jackson, or keep any records. "It's a setup for disaster," Shafer said, adding that the violations were all contributing factors in Jackson's death.

Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to the felony charge of involuntary manslaughter, is facing four years in prison if convicted. But new sentencing laws in California meant to mandatorily reduce state prison overcrowding mean that, as a nonviolent offender with no prior record, he could be sentenced to county jail instead. If that is the case, his sentence could be reduced to two years and, because of overcrowding in the Los Angeles County jail, he may be allowed to serve the majority of his time under supervised house arrest.

Kate Hudson Goes Brunette for Movie Role

Kate Hudson Goes Brunette for Movie Role

Kate Hudson is taking on a new hue. The 32-year-old actress has been photographed on the New York City set of her upcoming thriller, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, sporting a brand-new brunette hairdo!

Though it's most likely a wig, the dark brown color was a starling but welcome change from Hudson's usual blond hair. Judging by her costume, Hudson's character in the film might be a bit frumpy, but she's totally rocking the new hair style.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist, the adaptation of Mohsin Hamid's hit book of the same name, is being directed by Mira Nair and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2013. Hudson was spotted shooting scenes with Riz Ahmed, who plays the movie's main character Changez, a man whose life is inexorably changed by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Hudson plays a woman with whom Changez has a love affair; Liev Schreiber and Kiefer Sutherland round out the cast.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist is Hudson's first movie since she and her fiancé, 32-year-old Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, welcomed their son Bingham in July. Hudson also has a 7-year-old son named Ryder with her ex-husband, Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson.

2 Chainz Gets Real On New Mixtape

'A lot of people don't know what it's like to be real,' 2 Chainz tells Mixtape Daily about his T.R.U. REALigion.

Real Spit: It's hard to find a hotter rapper out of Atlanta than 2 Chainz right now. His current single "Spend It" remains one of the hottest songs in rap and even got a T.I. makeover when the King of the South hopped on the remix after he was released from prison in September. Still, that isn't enough for the MC formerly known as Tity Boi. On November 1, 2 Chainz will be releasing his T.R.U. REALigion mixtape, while most fans are still clamoring over his last one, Codeine Cowboy 2.

2 Chainz utilized some pretty clever wordplay for the title. "I spell it R-E-A-L because I feel like most people understand and know what religion is — it's the study and belief — [but] a lot of people don't know what it's like to be real," he explained to Mixtape Daily. And I'm here to kinda lead that campaign on why I feel like being real is a minority."

On the Jadakiss-assisted "One Day at a Time," 2 Chainz slows his roll and raps about his everyday problems. After Chainz spills his feelings onto the track, Kiss jumps in with a scene-stealing verse.

It is no secret that 2 Chainz's star is on the rise. The DJ Drama-helmed T.R.U. REALigion will only cement what real hip-hop fans have known for some time now — 2 Chainz got next!

Joints to Check For

» "One Day at a Time" - "It's not necessarily a song that I would perform to do a show, it's more or less like a vibe record. I felt like it just showed kinda how I move and kinda how I process my data. Kinda how I felt about everything — I just take it one day at a time."

» "Undastatement" - "I think the next track I really like is one of the solo tracks that I did, produced by Lex Luger and South Side, it's called 'Undastatement.' Basically the title is self-explanatory."
