Last week, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" got the Bollywood treatment when Indian composers Salim-Sulaiman remixed her feel-good disco track. Now, Britney Spears is feeling the Indian love from entertainment website Desi Hits! and the Culture Shock production team, who put their Bollywood-style spin on "Till the World Ends."

"Check out this incredible Desihits remix of Till The World Ends. I LOVE it!!!" Britney tweeted on Monday about the track.

The swirling take on Spears' hit tune boasts a "Punjabi breakdown" section that features some South Asian-sounding vocals from Culture Shock's Lomaticc and Sunny Brown. The track includes some added Desi flavors courtesy of dholki, dhol and tumbi beats, which are common in Indian music.

"Our goal was to take Britney's smash hit single and give fans a total Desi adrenaline rush," Culture Shock's Baba Kahn explained. "The result is a Culture Shock musical Desi roller coaster that hopefully everyone around the world will want to join."

It seems that Spears' camp was crucial in orchestrating the remix. "We wanted to build an even greater connection between the world's biggest pop star and one of the world's largest audiences," Mark Flaherty, senior vice president of Jive Label Group, says of the reimagined tune. "Britney has been engaged with South Asian culture for many years. From the groundbreaking Bollywood-inspired remix of 'Me Against the Music' to her recent collaboration with Indian fashion designers Falguni and Shane Peacock on the 'Hold It Against Me' video, she has embraced the incredible sights and sounds of this vibrant community throughout her career."

The original version of "Till the World Ends," the second single from Britney's Femme Fatale album, was produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Billboard. At last look, the tune held the #8 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Justin Bieber's Manager Off The Hook For Mall-Stampede Charges

Justin Bieber's manager Scott "Scooter" Braun is off the hook for the charges of reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance he received after the chaotic incident with Bieber fans at a Long Island mall in November 2009.

According to E! News, the charges against Braun were dropped Friday (May 6) after Bieber agreed to make a public-service announcement for an anti-cyberbullying campaign and his record label, Island Def Jam, pleaded guilty to the ordinance violation and agreed to reimburse the county almost $8,000 to pay its share of the costs associated with the law enforcement and fire marshal response after the melee.

All this stems from a Bieber mall appearance that turned into a stampede and injured one fan. Police alleged that Braun failed to properly control the situation at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York, when they ordered him to send a message to Bieber's fans via Twitter to notify his followers that the event was canceled.

Fans of the rising teen superstar were waiting for Bieber to arrive at the mall, where he was set to perform selections from his EP, My World, which had been released earlier in the week.

Braun refused to send the message, police said. Instead, authorities contend Braun eschewed safety in favor of publicity. As things got out of hand, police said, Bieber's Twitter still read, "On my way to Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY to sign and meet fans! I'm pumped. See u there."

After a representative from the singer's label was arrested, a message from Bieber's Twitter was sent urging fans to go home. "The event at Roosevelt Mall is cancelled," he tweeted. "Please go home. The police have already arrested one person from my camp. I don't want anyone hurt."

Hugh Hefner & Crystal Harris Ask for Donations, Not Wedding Gifts

Hugh Hefner & Crystal Harris Ask for Donations, Not Wedding Gifts

Perhaps taking a page from Prince William and Princess Catherine, Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris are asking their 300 guests to donate to charity instead of buying them gifts for their upcoming wedding.

The Playboy founder, 85, and the 25-year-old star of The Girls Next Door are set to wed June 18 at the Playboy Mansion.

"It was actually Crystal's suggestion, and I thought it was a great idea," Hefner tells Us Weekly. "The point of it is, we don't need gifts. A lot of people are in need and the notion of giving to charity instead of giving gifts to us just made sense."

That was much the same motivation when Wills and Kate announced that they would prefer their 1,900 guests to skip giving them a new toaster and, instead, send a donation to one of their favorite charities.

As for Hefner and Harris, they have proposed a number of charities for their invitees, including: Children of the Night, an L.A.-based foundation that hopes to eradicate child prostitution; charity: water, a non-profit that aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations; and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "No child is denied treatment, and it's a wonderful organization," Hefner said.

We like the idea of donating to charity in lieu of gifts, especially for someone who's on his third wedding! As for Crystal, who'll be taking her first walk down the aisle, it seems Hef is all the gift she needs.
